For us we take the brief time spent in each port as that a brief time and decided long ago not to say, "I wish we would have done this rather than that". I'd hate for others to make the same mistake. But if I just had one day, I'm afraid I'd truly regret having gone (even more so than I do now!). I think our trip there was a little more forgiving because we had 6 days in the area. We found Pisa so laughably underwhelming that we still refer to it in an inside joke manner.
To each their own! I just hoped to give some honest feedback on our experience. I hope my comments aren't taken as an attempt to rain on anybody's parade or control anybody's plans.
